Home Buyer Pre-Purchase Counseling

If you are seeking personalized attention beyond our group classes, you can meet with AHC’s Housing Counselor in a one-on-one setting to develop a realistic plan to achieve homeownership. We can provide you with a copy of your merged credit report, give you an idea of how much you can afford, show you how to overcome credit and debt issues, and help you identify the mortgage products that may be right for you. Counseling is especially recommended for those individuals who are concerned about being able to qualify for a mortgage. While the counseling is free, the cost of a credit report is $15 per individual or married couple, or $30 for an unmarried couple (cash or money order only).
