This 3.5 hour class, offered free of charge and conducted by a Certified Housing Counselor, will empower you to navigate the complex process of purchasing a home. You will receive an orientation to AHC's loans & grants program, learn about qualifying for a mortgage, finding a property, working with home inspectors and attorneys, negotiating the sale, resolving budgeting and credit issues, and much more. Classes are open to the community at large, but completion of home buyer education is REQUIRED for all households utilizing AHC's loans & grants program.

Prompt Arrival is Required! Those that miss more than 10 minutes of this class will not receive a Certificate of Completion. Remember that a Certificate of Completion is necessary for all buyers receiving an AHC homebuyer loan or grant.
