AHC has three programs to help home buyers purchase a home. Click on the links below to learn how a program works.

Affordable Plus Mortgage: Provides $50,000 in purchase assistance, reduces interest charges and eliminates mortgage insurance. The APM may be ideal for those that can afford about $2,000 in out of pocket costs.

First-Time Home Buyer Program: Provides $5,000 to offset downpayment and closing costs ($8,000 for North Chicago homebuyers). The FTHB may be ideal for those with less than perfect credit and for those that want to minimize their out of pocket expenses.

HOMEPATH Gift Program: Provides the buyer with a gift of up to 7% of the purchase price to be used toward downpayment and closing costs. May be ideal for those looking to put down $0 and for those working with a motivated seller.
