Homeowners Rehab Program: This program preserves the existing housing stock by helping homeowners make improvements and repairs to their home. AHC provides interest-free deferred financing, and employs a Rehab Specialist to oversee the actual rehab process itself, thereby removing this burden from the homeowner. Examples of the type of work we do includes:

• Removal of lead-based paint and mold hazards.
• Repair major structures and systems, such as electrical, plumbing, heating, roof, bathroom, kitchen, windows, etc.
• Bring properties up to code.
• Make interior and exterior of properties handicap-accessible.
